What is the company background?

Environmental Solutions is the web site for Pifer Environmental Services, owned by Ronald Pifer. Mr. Pifer is an aquatic ecologist and engineer, who has been working in the ecological field since 1969. As an environmental consultant, he has authored dozens of environmental assessments and studies in numerous states, conducted for a variety of private and government clients. In addition, he was Vice-President of Solar Aquafarms, Inc., which developed and implemented state-of-the-art ecological systems for treating wastewater and growing fish, shrimp, and spirulina algae. Mr. Pifer's recent activities have focused on developing natural and ecological approaches to solving various problems, including managing ponds and treating fat, oil, and grease in restaurant systems. He has authored dozens of reports and technical papers, and is the co-developer of a proprietary formula for pre-treating fat, oil, and grease for a major plumbing manufacturer, Jay R. Smith.
